Cabling & Repair

Reinforce weak limbs to promote the health of your trees

Sometimes nature gives an otherwise beautiful tree weak limbs. Ideally, forks should be formed in the shape of a "U", but they sometimes form a "V" instead. Then, as the two limbs grow, they compete with each other for available space until the weaker limb breaks. Our arborists can insert a threaded rod at the fork and then a network of cables up in the crown to reduce the weight and the wind's effect on the narrow fork.
